Returns & Refunds Policy
We want you to love your SilkShower purchase. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.
Return window
- You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.
- Items must be unused, in the same condition you received them, and in their original packaging.
Hygiene & exclusions
- For health and hygiene reasons, opened or installed filters cannot be returned unless faulty.
- Damaged, heavily used, or missing-parts returns may be declined or partially refunded.
How to start a return
- Email us at hello@silkshower.co.uk with your order number and reason for return.
- We’ll reply with return instructions and an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number.
- Pack the item securely and include your RMA inside the parcel.
Refunds
- Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll email you the outcome.
- If approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Return shipping
- Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is confirmed faulty or we made an error.
- Please use a tracked service and keep the receipt until your refund is processed.
Faulty or damaged items
- If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault, contact us within 7 days of delivery (damage) or as soon as the fault is noticed.
- We’ll arrange a replacement or refund after assessment. Photos may be requested to speed things up.
Exchanges
If you need the same item replaced (e.g., defective on arrival), we’ll send a replacement once the return is assessed.

UK consumer rights
Your statutory rights are unaffected. Under UK law, certain sealed goods are excluded from change-of-mind returns once unsealed for health protection or hygiene reasons. This may apply to shower filters once the seal is broken.
